DIY Gray Color Denim Top And Pants

Hello. I made this DIY using 2 different patterns. For the top I used Butterick 6175, but for the pants I cant remember what pattern I used. These pieces were made using the BOMB stretch denim fabric (it doesn’t even look like denim, right?). This fabric provided just enough structure for this project. What I like the most about this DIY, is the top…I think its so cute. But overall, I not overjoyed with the DIY, yeah I think did a good job in reference to the craftsmanship, but I’m really feeling the look of this outfit 🙁

Be blessed. I hope you all like this look and enjoyed this post.

DIY Faux Vest

Hello. This was such an easy and fun project. Can we say simple! This was a self-drafted DIY using an old vest that I already had hanging up in my closet. So basically using some paper I traced around my old vest to create the pattern piece, placed the pattern piece on top of my fabric, cut it out and sewed that baby up. As for the lining, I repeated the same steps and then I attached it to my vest with right sides together, sew the lining and outer vest at the seams with the exception of leaving a small opening for turning. Once you’ve sewn both pieces together, you will need to turn it  right sides out and lastly for that small opening that was left open, you can hand sew that together.  Very simple, right? I hope Iprovided some easy instructions.

DIY Faux Leather Metallic Circle Skirt

I will be keeping the skirt for EVER and you ask why? Why, because this is one of my first successful sewing projects that required a zipper. When I first started sewing, the mention of attaching a zipper stuck fear in me, which made me move on to the next project. By the way I have a lot of UFO’S (unfinished outfits) because of the zipper phobia I had. Well, ask me 3 years later and I’ll tell you that at times I still struggle, but now instead of running away, I embrace it.

Have a blessed day and I hope you all enjoy this DIY look.

DIY pussy bow Floral Top and DIY fringe clutch purse

Today’s DIY  is such a sexy, alluring, classy, and modern-chic top. This top was made using a now out of date pattern butterick 6133. However, there are a vast variety of other patterns that could be used to make a top similar to this one.

DIY Jumpsuit

Hey guys. What a cutie, huh? I love everything from the style, color, and fabric. This is the perfect summertime outfit. The fabric has just enough stretch and its very lightweight. This fits perfectly on me. Its so cute and comfy. I’m very satisfied with the outcome of this project; I think I’ll be making it again in the near future.

Be blessed. I hope you all like this look and enjoyed the post.

DIY Velour Faux Wrap Dress

With todays DIY dress, I looked beyond the pattern photo and stepped outside of the box, meaning I chose view D to make, but instead of making it short sleeves, I added sleeves. Previously, I made this dress for a summer trip w/o the sleeveless, but because I fell in love with this style, I wanted this same dress that could be worn in the wintertime. So here I go, I found this beautiful golden soft velour fabric and made it happen; luckily for me it was the perfect dress to wear to an upcoming I attended. Love the color, choice of fabric and of course the style!

Be blessed. I hope you all like pics and enjoyed the post.

DIY self-drafted Dress

This DIY look was made during the early stages of me sewing.  I used the Mimi G fall dress tutorial for this project. This dress was made from scratch from the beginning to the end. Being a newbie at sewing, I’ve learned a lot about body measurements and the importance of proper fitting with this project. The tutorial was very informative, it taught everything from measuring almost every part of your body , different types of sewing supplies to fabrics. If you’re a newbie, i recommend you try this project, using the Mimi G tutorial.

Be blessed. I hope you all like this look and enjoyed the post.
